Yes, you need a valid contact lens prescription from an Optometrist. Contact lenses are medical devices that require proper fitting and monitoring to ensure proper eye health and vision correction. To purchase contact lenses online you will need the following information on your prescription:
- Base Curve (BC)
- Diameter (DIA)
- Corrective power
- Contact lens brand
- Expiration date
Our contact lenses are new and usually expire 3-6 years from the date the order is placed. Our high order volume ensures you are getting lenses that have arrived recently from the suppliers.
Contact lenses should be replaced depending on the type:
- Daily contacts: After each use
- Weekly or bi-weekly contacts: After one week or two weeks
- Monthly contacts: After one month
In addition to proper lens care it is important to stick to the schedule for wear for each lens type to prevent any discomfort or vision changes.
If you have allergies that cause any discomfort or irritation during contact lens wear we recommend you see your optometrist to find the best solution for your needs.
